About this rug
Zenitsu's golden eyes gave me the centre of this keyboard rug. I wanted the orange hair to keep its sharp sections around the face, while the gaze stayed clearly visible underneath. The hair colour and eye shapes work together to make the portrait familiar.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully refine the smaller lines after tufting. The eye details and hair sections need defined edges so they stay distinct across the soft surface. I take care with those close boundaries as I finish the portrait.
Zenitsu's hair gives the close-up its bright colour before you've looked properly at the eyes. I wanted both details to stay together in the rug. A Demon Slayer fan can keep this familiar face beside the keyboard, close enough to enjoy the smaller lines during the day. This version measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the available space before ordering.
