About this rug
Kratos's red stripe gave me the starting point for this keyboard rug. I wanted the pale face and beard to keep their shape around it, with the grey background leaving the expression clearly visible. The stripe is a small part of the portrait that makes the whole face familiar.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the eyes, beard lines and red marking. The smaller details need clear boundaries so the portrait stays readable in the soft surface.
Kratos's red stripe makes the face familiar almost before you've looked at the beard. I wanted the portrait to keep that serious expression when it became a desk piece. A God of War fan can give him a place beside the keyboard while dealing with considerably more ordinary tasks. The approximate size is 44 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check your available space first. A little mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
