About this rug
Beru's layered face gave me a different kind of character portrait to try in yarn. I wanted the turquoise shapes to stay clearly placed against black, with the eyes visible inside them. The structure of the face is a big part of recognising this one.
I hand-tuft each keyboard rug from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully refine the lines between the smaller sections. The armour-like details need defined edges so they stay distinct across the soft surface. I take care around the eyes too, keeping the expression visible within those larger shapes.
Beru's face has more to notice the closer you look at those layered shapes. I wanted them to remain part of the handmade portrait, with the eyes still visible inside. He can join your Solo Leveling corner at the desk, where the small details are close enough to enjoy. This version measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and serves as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the available space before ordering.
