About this rug
I wanted Brook's skull and skeletal hand to stay together in this keyboard rug. The white bone shapes give the portrait its familiar features, with the orange accents adding colour around them. The hand is a small extra detail that helps make this version its own design.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the skull, fingers and smaller facial lines. The bone shapes need clear boundaries from each other so the portrait stays readable across the soft surface.
Brook gets to keep the skeletal hand as well as the skull in this portrait. I wanted that little extra detail to stay part of the desk piece. If he's your One Piece choice, you can give the Soul King a small place among the things you use every day. The approximate size is 44 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check that area before ordering. The little mouse rug is a separate optional extra.
