About this rug
Kuromi's little pink skull was the detail I wanted to get right in this keyboard rug. It sits above a very simple face, with the black hood giving the whole portrait its shape. I like how much personality you can keep in a design with just a few familiar features.
I tuft each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim the edges around the hood, face and skull so those small shapes stay clear. This Fluffy version has a soft, neatly finished surface, with the character worked into the yarn itself.
Kuromi looks sweet enough to be helpful, although the little skull suggests she has her own plans. I wanted that mix of cute and mischievous to stay in the handmade face. Choose the background you like and give her a small place in your daily desk routine. You can choose pink or purple, then Standard or Compact for the size. The measurements are below to help you check the space in front of your keyboard, where the rug works as a wrist rest. Want the little mouse rug too? Select it separately as an optional extra.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
