About this rug
Hello Kitty's face has very few details, which is exactly why I wanted to be careful with them. The little nose, the whiskers and the bow all need the right shape for the portrait to feel familiar. This keyboard rug keeps those parts together in a simple, soft design.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn and refine the outlines after tufting. There is plenty of white surface around the face, so the small details need to stay neat and clearly placed. Pink and purple are the listed colour options; choose the version you would most like to have on your desk.
Sometimes a desk only needs a little bow and a familiar face to feel more like yours. I wanted to keep Hello Kitty's expression simple and gentle, so she can sit comfortably among your everyday things. Pick the colour you'd enjoy looking at beside your keyboard. It works as a wrist rest in front of the keyboard, with Standard and Compact sizes available. Measure that space before deciding. The little mouse rug shown with the design is an optional extra, so select it separately if you want both.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
