About this rug
Garfield's half-lidded eyes are a good reason to make a keyboard rug. I wanted to keep that unmistakable expression, with the pink nose sitting between the orange face and white eyes. He looks about as enthusiastic about desk work as you would expect.
I make the rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. The eyelids and mouth lines need care because they carry the mood of the face. After tufting, I carefully finish those outlines so the character stays clear across the soft Fluffy surface.
Garfield looks about as interested in your to-do list as you'd expect. I wanted the rug to keep that very familiar lack of enthusiasm. On a busy morning, you can do the typing while he keeps looking as though a snack and a nap would solve everything. It works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard, with Standard and Compact size options listed below. Measure the space before choosing one. The small mouse rug is a separate extra if you want it with the main piece.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
