About this rug
I wanted this Stitch version to have actual texture around the face. The blue shaggy yarn gives the portrait a fuzzy surface, with the raised eyes and nose keeping the expression visible. You can see the difference in height when you look at the rug from the side.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, keeping the surrounding blue pile long. The face details need careful placement so they stay clear among the loose texture. This is a 3D Shaggy design, with the depth built into the surface itself.
Stitch has actual blue texture around his face in this version. The raised eyes and nose give you something to notice when you look from the side. I wanted the familiar expression to keep its place in all that yarn, so he can be a fuzzy bit of company at the desk. It measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check that space before ordering. The little mouse rug is a separate option if you'd like both pieces.
