About this rug
Derpy Tiger's little blue face gave this keyboard rug its character. I wanted the orange eyes and pink tongue to stay visible inside the black background, with enough space around the portrait for that slightly ridiculous expression to work. The face is small, but it has plenty going on.
I tuft each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully refine the eyes, mouth and tongue shapes so the little details remain readable.
Derpy Tiger's little face has a very convincing lack of seriousness. I wanted the eyes and tongue to keep that expression, with plenty of black around the portrait. He can have a small place beside the keyboard for those moments when your own day could use a little silliness. This version measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the area before ordering. A little mouse rug can be chosen separately as an extra.
