About this rug
I wanted this Kuromi wall rug to keep the whole hood in its outline. The points and pink skull give the character so much of her shape that they deserve a place in the edge too. The pink border follows the face and hood all the way around.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn, taking care with the white face and the smaller skull details. After tufting, I refine the colour boundaries so the expression stays clear. The shaped outline gives the piece its finished look whether you see it hanging up or laid out flat.
The approximate size is 91 cm. You can display it on a wall or use it as a floor rug, so measure the area you have in mind before ordering. Kuromi's hood becomes part of the outside edge, so you get her whole little outline on the wall. I wanted that shape to be worth seeing as well as the face. Give her a spot near the things you collect, where the skull and hood can do the greeting.
