About this rug
The Lamb's little face gave me a good design to try in a keyboard rug. I wanted the red eyes to remain clear inside the black portrait, with the white head outline giving the character its familiar shape. The grey background leaves room around that close-up.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully finish the eye shapes and smaller boundaries inside the white outline.
The little Lamb's face has a fairly sweet outline with some rather less innocent red eyes. I wanted the portrait to keep that combination. A Cult of the Lamb fan can give the character a small place at the desk, where the familiar details are close enough to enjoy between tasks. The approximate size is 44 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check the space before ordering. The little mouse rug is an optional extra chosen separately.
