About this rug
Akaza's eyes are the whole reason for this close-up. I wanted the purple irises and yellow symbols to remain clear when I made them in yarn, with the blue around them keeping the portrait tightly focused. A long keyboard rug gave the gaze enough space across the design.
I tuft each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. The smaller eye details sit close together, so I carefully trim and carve around them after tufting. That finishing work gives the soft surface its clear outlines and keeps the symbols visible inside the irises.
Akaza's eyes have plenty to look at up close, especially the tiny symbols. I wanted the handmade gaze to keep that intensity beside your keyboard. If you're putting together a Demon Slayer corner, this gives one very specific character detail a place among the things you actually use. This version measures approximately 45 × 15 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check those measurements against the area you want to use. A small mouse rug is available as a separately selected extra.
