About this rug
I wanted these two moon-marked cats to share one keyboard rug. The black-and-white faces make a clear pair, and the crescent details give each portrait a small familiar feature. The pink background leaves room around them so neither face gets lost in the design.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully trim and carve around the eyes, faces and little moon shapes. Working with two portraits means keeping the smaller outlines clear on both sides of the rug.
The two cats each get their own little place in the design. I liked the idea of keeping the moon-marked faces together, so you can enjoy the pair beside your keyboard. The pink background gives the desk a bit of colour while those familiar little expressions keep you company. The approximate size is 45 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the space first. A small mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
