About this rug
The Lich King's pale blue eyes gave me the centre of this keyboard rug. I wanted them to remain visible inside the armoured helmet, with the smaller panels keeping their familiar shapes around the gaze. There is quite a lot of structure in the portrait to work through in yarn.
I tuft each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully refine the panel lines and eye boundaries. The angles need attention so the armour sections stay distinct across the soft surface.
Those pale blue eyes make the armoured portrait feel as though it has noticed you. I wanted the rug to keep the gaze inside the smaller helmet panels. A Lich King fan can have that familiar face beside the keyboard while getting on with their own rather less frozen plans. Standard and Compact sizes are available for the space in front of your keyboard, where the rug works as a wrist rest. Check the measurements below before choosing. A little mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
