About this rug
Franky's face gave me a portrait with plenty of shape to work through. I wanted the light blue hair to stay clear above the cyborg details, with the cream background leaving room around the close-up. The larger features and small mechanical-looking lines need to work together.
I make each keyboard rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully trim and carve around the face, hair and smaller sections. That finishing keeps the details distinct so the portrait stays familiar across the soft surface.
Franky's portrait has plenty of little mechanical details to enjoy up close. I wanted those shapes to keep their place beneath the blue hair, so the face still feels familiar. If he's your One Piece choice, this gives him a spot among the things you use every day. This version measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and serves as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check the space before ordering. A little mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
