About this rug
The zombie from Plants vs. Zombies inspired this keyboard rug. I wanted to keep that familiar mix of creepy and funny. His grey-green face sits against a bright green background, with wide, uneven eyes and an open mouth giving the portrait its personality. Those are the little details I wanted to get right, so you'd recognise him as soon as you looked down from the screen.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the eyes, mouth and other facial lines so they remain clear.
He looks as though he's still working out how to get past the plants. I wanted to keep that awkward expression in the yarn, down to the eyes and little teeth. If Plants vs. Zombies has claimed a few of your evenings, I hope you'll enjoy having him nearby while you type or play. Use it as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard, with Standard and Compact sizes available. Check the measurements below against the space you have. The little mouse rug is a separate extra if you'd like it too.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
