About this rug
Umbreon's yellow rings were the detail I wanted to bring out in this keyboard rug. They give the black portrait a clear shape, with the red eyes adding the expression underneath. I wanted the ears to stay visible too, because they're part of the face fans recognise.
I hand-tuft the piece from premium acrylic yarn and refine the smaller edges after tufting. The yellow and red details need to remain distinct from the black around them, so the finishing work matters in those areas. The result is a soft Fluffy surface with the portrait worked into it.
Umbreon's rings are a small detail that makes the whole portrait feel familiar. I wanted that quiet black-and-yellow design to have a place on the desk too. For a Pokémon fan who keeps coming back to Umbreon, the face can be a little daily reminder of that choice. Use it as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Standard and Compact sizes are listed below to help you check the fit of the space. The optional mouse rug is a Poké Ball, selected separately.
