About this rug
I wanted the Powerpuff Girls to share this keyboard rug as a little group portrait. Their faces sit close together, with the large eyes giving the design a lot of expression. Keeping the whole group in one shape felt right for a rug that stretches across the front of a keyboard.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. Working with several faces means taking care around the eyes and smaller lines on each one. After tufting, I carefully finish those boundaries so the portraits remain separate and easy to see in the soft surface.
The group gets to stay together across the front of a full-size keyboard. I wanted each little face to have a place, so you can enjoy all the expressions when you look down. If you collect Powerpuff Girls pieces, this gives the whole team a useful spot on your desk. This version is intended for a full-size, 100% keyboard arrangement and serves as a wrist rest in front of it. The small mouse rug is an optional extra chosen separately.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Intended keyboard format: full-size (100%).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
