About this rug
The lettering inside Rick's eyes made me want to try this more graphic version as a rug. I wanted those little shapes to stay readable, with the grey hair and black background framing the face. It's an odd detail, which is a good part of why this portrait catches your attention.
I hand-tuft each keyboard rug using premium acrylic yarn. The small letters and facial lines need careful finishing after tufting, so I work around their edges to keep them clear. The pointed hair shapes get the same attention around the outside of the portrait.
The eye lettering gives this Rick portrait a stranger little detail to enjoy. I wanted it to stay part of the yarn version, because it's what makes this close-up different. A fan can put him beside the keyboard and decide what that face thinks of today's plans. The rug works as a soft wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Choose Standard or Compact after checking the measurements below. The small mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
