About this rug
Raphael's red bandana was the starting point for this keyboard rug. I wanted it to sit clearly across the green face, with enough room for the expression around the eyes. When fans have a favourite turtle, that small colour choice is often the first thing they look for.
I tuft each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the mask and facial lines so the details remain distinct.
Raphael's red mask is the detail a turtle fan will look for straight away. I wanted it to stay with that familiar expression when the portrait became a desk piece. If he's your choice of turtle, you can give him a little space right in front of the keyboard. The approximate size is 45 × 18 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure that area before ordering. A small mouse rug can be selected separately as an optional extra.
