About this rug
The Minecraft pig gave me a good reason to work with square shapes. I wanted the face to keep its pixel look when I made it in yarn, with the green background giving the pink portrait a familiar setting. The straight edges are part of what makes the reference work.
I tuft each keyboard rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the yarn is in place, I carefully trim around the small blocks of colour so the face stays readable.
The pig's blocky little face belongs very comfortably beside a gaming keyboard. I wanted it to keep the pixel shapes a Minecraft fan expects, even when they're made in soft yarn. It's a small bit of that familiar world to have nearby while you're building your own setup. Choose Standard or Compact after measuring the space in front of your keyboard. The rug works there as a wrist rest. A small mouse rug is available as a separate option if you want both pieces.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
