About this rug
Michelangelo's orange mask gives this keyboard rug its familiar little detail. I wanted to keep the expression clear beneath it, with the green face sitting against black. A close-up leaves room for the eyes and bandana to introduce the character on their own.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully trim and carve around the facial boundaries. The mask edges need to stay distinct from the green, while the eyes keep enough space for the expression.
Michelangelo's orange mask gives the desk piece its own familiar little introduction. I wanted the expression beneath it to keep the playful feel of the portrait. A turtle fan can make room for him beside the keyboard, where the face becomes part of your everyday setup. Standard and Compact sizes are available for the front of your keyboard, where the rug serves as a wrist rest. Check the measurements below before choosing. The little mouse rug is a separate option if you'd like it too.
