About this rug
Luigi's green cap gave me the starting point for this keyboard rug. I wanted to keep the blue eyes and rounded moustache clearly visible underneath it, because the face is familiar from just those few details. The long portrait leaves room for the cap as well as the expression.
I make each Luigi rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the eyes, moustache and cap edges. Those curves need attention to keep the face readable in the soft surface, especially around the smaller parts of the expression.
The green cap is Luigi's introduction, and the little moustache does the rest. He can sit beside your keyboard as a familiar part of the games you enjoy. I wanted the portrait to keep that friendly face, so you'll have a small bit of it in your everyday setup. Use it as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard, choosing Standard or Compact after checking the measurements below. The little mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
