About this rug
Luffy's grin was the part I wanted to keep in this keyboard rug. It gives the portrait its whole mood, even with the face cropped close. I wanted enough room for the smile and black hair without adding details that would crowd the long shape.
I tuft each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn, then carefully trim and carve around the expression. The curve of the mouth and the lines around the eyes need attention because they're what make the face feel like Luffy. The result is a soft surface with clearly defined features.
Luffy's grin is a fairly good face to look down at between tasks. I wanted the rug to keep that cheerful energy, even on a day when you're mostly answering messages. For a One Piece fan, he can make the desk feel a little more like your own corner. The rug measures approximately 44 × 16 cm and sits in front of your keyboard as a wrist rest. Check that area before ordering. The little mouse rug is an optional extra, selected separately.
