About this rug
Hisoka's star and teardrop made me want to try this face in yarn. They are small marks, but fans recognise them immediately. I wanted the pink and turquoise details to stay clear on either side of the yellow eyes, with the expression still having room between them.
I tuft each Hisoka keyboard rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Then I carefully trim and carve around the eyes and cheek markings. The star points and the curve of the teardrop need their own clear edges, so those little shapes remain readable in the soft surface.
The star and teardrop give Hisoka away before the portrait needs a name. I wanted those two little marks to have their place in the finished rug. A fan can keep the face close at the desk, with the details there to enjoy when looking down from the screen. It measures approximately 45 × 18 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Compare that size with your desk space before ordering. A little mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
