About this rug
Grimmjow's jaw mask was the detail I wanted to preserve in this keyboard rug. Its sharp white shape sits beside the blue eyes and pale blue hair, giving the portrait a very particular outline. I wanted the mask to stay distinct while the face kept its expression.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully carve around the mask sections and the smaller facial lines. The angles need attention because they sit close to the softer curves of the eyes and hair. Keeping their boundaries clear gives the finished surface its detail.
The jaw mask is part of what makes this feel like Grimmjow, even in a tightly framed face. I wanted it to keep that sharp outline in yarn. If he's the Bleach character you make room for in your collection, this lets him join the things you use at your desk. This version measures approximately 45 × 18 cm and serves as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the space first. The small mouse rug is a separate option if you want the extra piece.
