About this rug
The grin made me want to turn Gengar into a keyboard rug. It's such a big part of the face that the portrait can stay simple and still feel like the character. I kept the red eyes clear above it, with the purple giving both features enough space.
I tuft each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully carve around the smile and eye shapes. The white grin has to stay distinct from the surrounding purple, especially at the smaller edges.
Gengar looks extremely pleased about something, and it's probably best to let him keep the secret. I wanted that grin to be the mood of the whole piece. It's a little bit of Pokémon mischief for the place where you sit down to work or play. The rug serves as a wrist rest in front of the keyboard. Standard and Compact sizes are listed below, so check your desk space first. The Poké Ball mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
