About this rug
Deku's green eye was the detail I wanted to keep visible in this masked portrait. The black and grey shapes frame it closely, giving the keyboard rug a more focused look at the costume. It's a small part of the design that changes how the whole face reads.
I make each piece by hand using premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully finish around the mask panels and eye so their boundaries stay clear.
This masked Deku portrait gives you a very specific part of the costume to enjoy. I wanted the eye to keep its place inside those surrounding shapes, so the reference stays close and focused. He can join your My Hero Academia pieces right where you sit down each day. This version is approximately 45 × 18 cm and is designed as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check that space before ordering. The little mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
