About this rug
Chococat's big eyes are the part I wanted to keep in this keyboard rug. The face is simple, but the eyes and ear shapes give it a lot of expression. The blue background lets the black portrait stay clear without needing to add a whole scene around it.
I make the rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Around the eyes and small facial lines, I carefully trim and carve the boundaries after tufting. There are only a few details, so their shape and placement matter to the finished face.
Chococat looks quite interested in what's happening above the keyboard. I wanted those big eyes to stay the heart of the piece, with the little ears keeping their shape too. If you enjoy simple Sanrio faces, he can make a small corner of the desk feel like yours. The approximate size is 45 × 16 cm, intended for the space in front of your keyboard as a wrist rest. Check that area before ordering. The small mouse rug is available separately as an extra.
