About this rug
Candy Bear inspired this pink keyboard rug. I liked the little heart in the face and the way the darker pink outline gives the design so much character. I wanted to bring that face onto the desk without crowding it with extra details, so I kept the background a softer pink. The cream-coloured yarn lets the face stand out, while the heart keeps that sweet, playful feeling at the centre of it.
I make each Candy Bear rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn, working through the face and its small pink details one at a time. After tufting, I carefully trim the surface and carve around the outlines. The heart and the smaller marks need a clean edge so they stay easy to see against the cream yarn. I take my time with those finishing cuts; they're what give the soft, neatly trimmed design its definition.
I liked the idea of having this little face waiting below the keyboard while you get through an ordinary day. You don't need a fully pink setup to enjoy it, though it does fit nicely among pastel desk accessories. If you're choosing a gift for someone who loves Candy Bear, it's a small piece they can keep beside the things they use every day. It's a wrist-rest rug for the space in front of your keyboard. Choose Standard or Compact after checking the measurements below against your desk. The small mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.

- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
