About this rug
Toothless has a lot of expression in those green eyes. I wanted this keyboard rug to concentrate on the face, with the dark nose and black surface keeping the portrait simple. When the eyes are the part you recognise first, they deserve enough room in the design.
I make each rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. The green eye shapes and the nose need careful finishing so they stay visible against the black. I trim and carve the outlines after tufting, giving the face a soft surface with defined details.
Those green eyes do a surprisingly good job of making Toothless look as though he's watching what you're up to. I wanted them to remain the heart of the rug. A dragon fan can keep that familiar face close while working, playing or simply arranging a desk they enjoy. It's designed as a wrist rest for the space in front of your keyboard. Standard and Compact sizes are available; check the measurements below against your desk. You can choose the little mouse rug separately as an extra.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
