About this rug
Batman was the inspiration for this keyboard rug. I wanted to keep the design focused on his cowl, with pale outlines standing out against black yarn and red accents around the portrait. That familiar silhouette does most of the work, so I kept the rest simple.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the eye shapes and the outline of the cowl. Those pale lines need a clean edge against the black yarn, so the face keeps its shape in the soft, neatly trimmed surface.
If Batman has a place in your collection, I hope you'll enjoy having this little piece beside the things you use every day. It keeps the familiar mask close while you work, play or get through a few messages. The black-and-red palette is easy to work into a darker setup, and the pale outlines keep the portrait visible. It measures approximately 45 × 16 cm and works as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check that space before ordering. The little mouse rug is a separate option if you'd like it too.
