About this rug
Ahsoka's face gave me quite a few details to work with. I wanted the pale markings to stay visible against the orange, while the blue-and-white head-tails kept their familiar shape around the portrait. The lilac background gives the whole close-up a little space.
I make each Ahsoka keyboard rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. The narrow facial markings and the edges between blue and white need careful finishing after tufting. I work around those lines so the soft surface keeps the clear detail you can see in the photos.
Ahsoka's markings and head-tails give this portrait plenty to enjoy up close. I wanted a fan to find those familiar details when the rug is beside the keyboard. If you're collecting character pieces for your space, she can have a place right where you spend your time. This version is approximately 45 × 16 cm and serves as a wrist rest in front of a keyboard. Measure that space before ordering. A small mouse rug can be selected separately as an extra.
