About this rug
Aang's blue arrow was the starting point for this keyboard rug. I wanted the marking to remain clear on the forehead, with the rounded face keeping its familiar expression. The turquoise around the portrait leaves the design simple and gives the arrow room to stand out.
I make each Aang rug by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully refine the outlines around the arrow and facial details. With a simple face, even the small curves matter to the expression, so I take care with their placement and edges.
Aang's arrow gives you the familiar little introduction before you've looked at the whole face. I wanted the portrait to feel friendly at the desk, with the expression still worth enjoying up close. He can have a place alongside your other character pieces or simply keep you company while you type. The rug works as a soft wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Choose Standard or Compact after comparing the measurements below with your available space. The little mouse rug is a separate extra if you'd like it too.
