About this rug
Rengoku's yellow-and-red hair gave the portrait its shape. I wanted the flame-like points to stay visible around the eyes, because both the hair and gaze make the face feel familiar. A close-up leaves room to keep those details clear in a keyboard rug.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the hair sections and smaller facial lines. The changes between red and yellow need defined edges too, so the portrait keeps its colour and expression across the soft surface.
The pointed hair and those eyes make Rengoku's portrait feel familiar straight away. I wanted the handmade face to keep that expression when it's beside your keyboard. If he's the Demon Slayer character you always make room for, he can have a little space in the setup you use each day. The approximate size is 44 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Check that space before ordering. The little mouse rug is a separate optional extra.
