About this rug
The Mandalorian's silver helmet gave this keyboard rug its shape. I wanted the dark visor to remain clearly defined inside the panels, with the black background leaving the armour easy to see. The helmet is the portrait, so those small panel lines are important.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. After tufting, I carefully trim and carve around the visor and silver sections. Keeping the angles separate helps the soft surface hold the familiar Beskar helmet shape.
The visor gives the Mandalorian helmet its familiar first impression. I wanted the small armour lines to keep their place around it, so the rug has details to enjoy up close too. A fan can give the helmet a spot among the things they use at the desk every day. Choose Standard or Compact after checking the measurements below for the front of your keyboard. The rug works there as a wrist rest. The little mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: small mouse rug (selected separately).
