About this rug
I wanted this sleeping Homer rug to feel like a tiny scene. His little face sits inside the blue blanket, and the raised yarn gives the blanket actual depth. The sleeping expression is small, but it makes the whole design feel complete.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, using the longer blue pile around the face to build the Shaggy texture. The facial details need to stay visible inside that raised surface, so I take care with their placement. The 3D finish is in the yarn itself, as you can see in the side views.
Homer has brought his blanket to the desk and seems quite settled about the plan. The little sleeping face is worth looking at among all that raised blue yarn. I wanted the rug to keep the whole tiny scene, so you have a very relaxed companion while you do the typing. The rug works as a soft wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Choose Compact or Standard after checking the measurements below. The donut mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
