About this rug
I wanted the two cats in this yin yang rug to look as though they belonged in the circle together. Their curled bodies make the shape, and the blue and green eyes give each face a small detail of its own. The black-and-white design stays simple until you start noticing the cats.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully carve the lines around the faces. The boundary between the two bodies needs to keep its curve, while the smaller eye details stay visible. The complete round outline is part of the rug, including the way the cats share the space.
Choose a size from the listed 4 to 8 ft options and check your available floor area first. It's a full round piece, so allow room for the whole circle. You notice the circle first, then the two cats seem to settle into it. I wanted that small discovery to be part of the rug. It could sit in a reading corner or beside a bed, somewhere you can enjoy the whole round shape and both little faces.
