About this rug
Chimchar's little face gave me a cheerful starting point for this keyboard rug. I wanted the cream muzzle and red outlines to keep their shapes, with the orange background fitting the character's colour. The expression is simple, but it gives the whole portrait its mood.
I make each piece by hand from premium acrylic yarn. Once the tufting is finished, I carefully refine the edges around the face and smaller details. The red lines need to remain clear beside the cream and orange, so the finishing work is part of keeping that playful look.
Chimchar's little face brings a cheerful bit of orange to the desk. I wanted the expression to keep the easy, friendly look you can see here. If he's the Pokémon you choose, the portrait gives you somewhere to enjoy that choice during your ordinary time at the keyboard. The approximate size is 45 × 16 cm, intended as a wrist rest in front of your keyboard. Measure the available space before ordering. A small mouse rug is an optional extra, selected separately.
