About this rug
Charizard's face gave me a more dramatic starting point for a keyboard rug. I wanted the orange portrait to stay strong against the red and black, with the eyes and facial lines doing most of the work. The close-up lets you see the character without needing the full dragon shape.
I hand-tuft each piece from premium acrylic yarn, then carefully finish around the smaller facial features. The outlines need to remain clear across the different background colours, so I trim and carve those boundaries after tufting.
Charizard gives the front of a keyboard a fairly dramatic face. I wanted the orange portrait to keep that energy even when the rug is part of a normal workday. If he's your Pokémon choice, this is a way to keep the character close while you're at the desk. Choose Standard or Compact after checking the measurements below against your keyboard space. The rug works there as a wrist rest. The Poké Ball mouse rug is an optional extra selected separately.
- Material: premium acrylic yarn; hand-tufted.
- Use: soft wrist rest in front of a keyboard.
- Size options: Standard 44 × 16 cm (17.3 × 6.3 in) or Compact 32 × 16 cm (12.6 × 6.3 in).
- Optional extra: Poké Ball mouse rug (selected separately).
